I had the pleasure of working on the environment VFX for Counterplay's Godfall. I was responsible for placing and authoring VFX in some of the environments alongside the amazing artists from Counterplay Games, Disruptive Games and Tuatara Games. Bruno Afonseca was responsible for developing a lot of awesome tech and tools to control environment VFX:
Please keep in mind that a lot of emitters, textures and materials were shared among the VFX teams to create different effects and populate the world.
Of course, this was all a huge team effort, and it wouldn't have been possible without the incredible team of developers at Counterplay.
